Tevin and I met in Division 323 at Whitney Young Magnet High school. We flirted and dated for a week or so Freshman year and then were strictly friends until Junior year. This photo was taken our Junior Year Highschool Homecoming Dance :)

We graduated from one of the top ten public high school's in the country in 2013 and began dating long distance in 2014. Jasmin was living in Los Angeles while Tevin attended the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, IL. Fast forward to 2016. Tevin's in his Junior year at the University of Illinois, and Jasmin's preparing to spend the summer dancing in Europe while working full time as a nanny and freelancing for up and coming artists (at the time) like ChancetheRapper, Jamila Woods, and Smino.

Tevin graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Technical Systems Management (TSM), the first and only of his immediate peers to do it in four years, in May 2017! We were so proud. With me freshly back from Europe, I was living in a studio in Hyde Park at the time. After graduation, Tevin moved in!

New Year's Eve 2017. Tevin was working at an engineering consulting firm in the West Loop. I was dancing and singing full time this year; earning a big career step by starring in and choreographing the music video 'Trust Nobody' for Grammy Award winning artist Cashmere Cat ft. Selena Gomez and Tory Lanez.

Tevin and I married Saturday May 11, 2019 at the Justice of the Peace Courthouse in downtown Chicago, IL with no- witnesses and no rings. We told no one. We took the bus, and afterwards went to Popeyes and then I had to work. At this time, Tevin's working as the Assistant Project Manager at the Museum of Science and Industry, the largest science museum in the western hemisphere of the world. Jasmin's just wrapped working with a Graham-based Modern Dance Company and is preparing to spend six months living and dancing contemporary ballet in a small village in Israel for 6 months in 2020. We still live in a Hyde Park studio.

Tevin and I purchased our first home, know as 'the Taylor Tower' in Feb 2021. The day before the wedding is our 5th year marriage anniversary. We have a soon-to-be 3 year old pup named Kaptain. Tevin is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, and currently works as a Project Manager at CBRE; the number one commercial real estate, services, and investment firm in the WORLD! Jasmin is currently producing an ongoing series for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago with Motion/Pictures Dance Project, scoring films in co-production with the largest Independent Film Producer in the Midwest, and dancing in a Chicago Cultural Center Residency. Upcoming, we're thinking of moving to the East Coast, the South, or expanding right here in Chicago! We're city kids at heart, but living on the land calls to our souls, with the goal being purchasing many, many acres to build our family on in peace.
